Consultation and Records

At the first visit to Dr. Pashley we will discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the fees for your particular case. Diagnostic records are taken to verify the best course of treatment for each patient. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth and X-rays. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.

Office Hours

Our office hours are Monday & Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Tuesday & Wednesday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. The office is closed on weekends and major holidays and well as when the doctor and staff are attending continuing education programs. However, Dr. Pashley or a staff member may be paged at any time in case of emergency.

Emergency Care

We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.

Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. If possible, give us 24 hours notice. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient. Appointments that are rescheduled at he last moment or with short notice may find that the most desirable appointment times are not available.

Fees & Payment Policy

In an effort to help keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established our financial policy as follows:

  1. If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. If you have insurance we will offer a discount for your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.
  2. To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment.
  3. For your convenience, we offer Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover service.

In cases of serious delinquency treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate our patients with temporary difficulties.

Insurance

If you have insurance we will help you determine the coverage available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefits to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay as listed above.

Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
